Pinnacles National Park

Writer: yourbasictraveleryourbasictraveler

Pinnacles National Park is known for its amazing rock formations and caves. This is less popular compared to other national parks in California. I am shocked that I only learned about it recently. The park was formed due to tectonic plate movements. The rock formations are massive and I can only describe them as giant boulders shooting up from the ground. The caves are unique and they are considered as "talus caves". The caves were formed from rocks falling into canyons, creating tunnels that are now accessible to visitors.
